Shipment orders
  • How can I know that my online order has been successfully accepted and the courier will come to collect the package?
  •  On acceptance of your order LEX SYSTEM will send you a confirmation to your e-mail address provided in the online order form. In case if you do not receive a confirmation within 30 minutes after placing your online order, please kindly call number 1373 – a LEX SYSTEM operator will help resolve any problems related to the order or confirmation.
Collection of shipments
  • I need the courier to return urgently (part of the shipment has been left, documents not collected, there is a new urgent shipment). What shall I do?
  •  Please call number 1373 and we will try to help you.
  • Is it possible to agree that the courier comes to collect the shipment at certain time?
  • For the time being this is impossible. If you wish to hand your shipment to LEX SYSTEM at a specific time please deliver it to the nearest LEX SYSTEM centre.

  • Can I bring my shipment to LEX SYSTEM myself?
  • Yes. If you do not wish to wait for a courier you may bring your shipment to the nearest LEX SYSTEM centre.

Shipment security and indemnification for losses
  • Does LEX SYSTEM treat shipments with care?
  •  Yes. This is testified to by the following words of LEX SYSTEM‘s customer: „LEX SYSTEM‘s courier timely delivered a container with an artificial heart prepared for a surgery. On behalf of a healthcare unit I wish to express gratitude for the excellent service and for the care shown in rescuing the patient‘s life. Heart Surgery Centre UAB.“
  • Are shipments transported by LEX SYSTEM in Lithuania insured?
  •  All shipments carried by LEX SYSTEM are insured for the sum of EUR 500. Insurance costs are paid by LEX SYSTEM.
  • Who indemnifies for the losses if the shipment is lost or damaged during transportation?
  •  All shipments carried by LEX SYSTEM are insured for the sum of EUR 500. In those extremely rare cases where the shipment is lost or damaged during transportation, LEX SYSTEM always indemnifies the customer for any losses incurred through the fault of our company up to the sum insured. In the case of damage, we recommend that our customers approach Inpeksservis UAB, Algirdo g. 31 Vilnius, tel. (8-5) 2335643, for an independent assessment of damages.
Which items are prohibited in shipments?
  • Can LEX SYSTEM transport shipments of non-standard dimensions (e. g., length exceeding 3 m)?
  •  For the time being our rules do not permit transportation of non-standard shipments.
  • Can LEX SYSTEM transport shipments requiring storage in the temperature range +2°C - +8°C?
  • Yes, LEX SYSTEM transports shipments requiring temperature from +2°C to +8°C, however, the customer must present the shipment in a special container maintaining the required temperature. Usually this is a foam polystyrene box with freezing agents inside.
  • Can I send flowers using LEX SYSTEM?
  •  Yes if the flowers are safely packaged in a way so that they cannot damage other shipments and are not damaged during transportation. If you want to send flowers without placing them into a container, we recommend using services of specialised companies (e. g. in the website of INTERFLORA you can order delivery of flowers in Lithuania and other countries).
  • Can LEX SYSTEM transport furniture or Windows?
  •  Yes, provided that they are suitably packed and do not exceed the set dimensions. Prior to sending please read the official LEX SYSTEM‘s rules provided in this website.
  • Can LEX SYSTEM transport foodstuffs in Lithuania?
  •  The current rules of LEX SYSTEM do not permit transportation of foodstuffs. If there are grounds for believing that an exception can be made in your case (e. g. if you want to send non-spoiling canned foodstuffs) please contact a LEX SYSTEM operator by phone 1373 – maybe we will be able to help you.
Payment for LEX SYSTEM services
  • Can the recipient pay for the shipment in cash at the time of delivery?
  •  Yes, provided that such payment method has been specified in the order or in the waybill when handing the shipment to the courier.
  • In which cases LEX SYSTEM issues invoices for its services?
  • Invoices for customers having not entered into an agreement with LEX SYSTEM and wishing to pay in cash are issued by the courier at collection (or delivery if the delivery is paid for by the recipient). Invoices for business customers having entered into an agreement with LEX SYSTEM are issued and sent on the 5th date of the month. On the same day electronic copies of the invoices are sent to the e-mail address specified by the payee.
EasyShip program
  • What is the purpose of E@syShip program?
  •  E@syShip order-management program is convenient for companies that use LEX SYSTEM often: Upon entry of order information in the program, a shipment number is instantly assigned and you can give it to the recipient, while the order goes to the LEX SYSTEM database. You don‘t have to waste time for filling waybills. All orders are managed by the system. You can view all information on and track your shipments: the details on when, where and to whom you have sent shipments are displayed. E@syShip creates labels with the recipient‘s address and telephone and bar code: you just need to print out and stick the label to the package. The program stores all the data previously entered by you, therefore, when shipments are sent repeatedly to the same recipient, you have to enter company name only.
  • What is the cost of E@syShip program?
  •  LEX SYSTEM provides E@syShip free of charge.
  • Where can I get E@syShip program and to use it?
  •  You can download E@syShip from LEX SYSTEM website.

Shipment transportation time and LEX SYSTEM working time
  • Is same day delivery possible?
  •  At present shipments to any locations of Lithuania are delivered on next day. Possibly in the future we are able to offer a quicker delivery.
  • Can you deliver a shipment to a shopping centre?
  •  Yes, LEX SYSTEM delivers shipments to over 1,500 sales outlets in Lithuania. Under individual agreement the shipment can be delivered prior to the opening time of the sales outlet.
  • Do you accept orders and collect shipments on weekends?
  •  You may place your orders online at any time, round-the-clock. Telephone orders are accepted on workdays from 8.00 a. m. till 5 p. m. We collect shipments on workdays only. Therefore, if you place an online order off-working hours or during the weekend, the courier will come to collect it on next working day.
  • Do you deliver shipments on weekends?
  •  For the time being we do not deliver shipments on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • How can I check the location and the time of delivery of my shipment?
  •  Upon filling the waybill ask the courier to stick the package number on it. Knowing your package number you can track your shipment online – just enter the number in the first page of  www.lexsystem.com.
  • Do you deliver shipments to natural persons to home address in the morning/evening?
